Nobody’s Darling String Band is a group of five ladies who are seasoned Old Time musicians, that play kick butt Mountain Music every Saturday from 4 to 6 PM at Jack of the Wood. A fiddle, guitars, standup bass and banjo uke round out this engaging and energetic group, playing in the traditional style of Appalachian roots music.

A rock band building songs with punk speed, melodic lyrics and guitar shredding riffs in the mountains outside Asheville. After gigging across the Southeast for a couple of years as the core of a Southern Rock band, the boys woke up in December 2022.
Hungry for something beyond the typical, they formed Caged Affair. Armed with a name offensive to some, enigmatic to others and a love of 90’s pop-punk rock, they set out to create music blending Tyler’s demanding baselines, Harley’s electric riffs and Cody’s frantic drumming.

The City of Hope located in Ntagacha, an extremely impoverished Tanzanian community close to the Kenyan border, rescues children from situations of abuse, child marriage, female genital mutilation, hunger, and disease.
The event will include live African music by the magnificent local musician, Adama Dembele and his trio, from 4:30pm to 5:15pm. The Well Drinkers are a progressive, original bluegrass and Americana band based out of Western North Carolina, whose range extends to festivals and venues across the Southeast.
Since the band’s creation in 2019, the group has striven to combine traditional roots of their Appalachian region with progressive instrumentation, songwriting, and subject matter. The group doesn’t shy away from the opportunity to bring experimental jams, jazz, Cajun, classical and reggae into their live performances.

Ethan Heller is a psychedelic rock and funk guitarist/vocalist best known from The Snozzberries. The Snozzberries are a hi-energy psychedelic rock band based in Asheville, NC. Since their formation in fall of 2017, The Snozzberries have quickly gained notoriety for their electrifying live performances where melodic song craft is interwoven with wild improvisation and technical wizardry.

Rissi Palmer’s gift lies in reaching across all musical boundaries. While she made her mark in Country Music, she is equally at home in R&B music, bringing the entire spectrum of popular music to bear on music she calls “Southern Soul.” Palmer debuted in 2007 with the single “Country Girl”, which made her the first African-American woman to chart a country song since Dona Mason in 1987. A few highlights throughout her musical career include performances at The White House, New York’s Lincoln Center and multiple appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.
